The plot synopsis reads as follows: "A Murder at the End of the World is a mystery series with a new kind of detective at the helm — a Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker named Darby Hart.
"Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all of her skills to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests and before the killer takes another life."

Alongside Emma, we will see Clive Owen (Closer, King Arthur) play the billionaire host Andy, and co-creator Brit Marling will also play a major role named Lee.

What are the team behind A Murder At The End Of The World saying about it so far?
John Landgraf – the chairman of FX the network the show was produced for – has spoken out about the show's “radical reconceptualisation of whodunnit”, as well as the relevance of a strong female main character.
“We absolutely loved what Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij came to us with, which is radical reconceptualisation of whodunnit with a really, really original set of characters, particularly a really strong and original young woman at the centre of the story whose back story and present-day story form a strong emotional core,” he said, according to Deadline.
When will A Murder At The End Of The World be released?
The first two episodes of the series will drop on Disney+ on Tuesday 29 August, with one episode releasing onto the streamer every week for 5 weeks after that.
